Christopher J. Logothetis is a high senior professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on prostate cancer biology, genitourinary malignancies, and cancer pharmacology, with particular emphasis on aggressive variant prostate cancers and bone microenvironment interactions. His recent work includes investigating circulating tumor DNA fractions to predict outcomes in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, optimizing PSMA-targeted radioligand therapy biomarkers, and exploring mechanisms such as PKA-driven SPP1 activation and KDM4A-mediated MYC regulation in neuroendocrine prostate cancer progression. He leads clinical trials combining carboplatin, cabazitaxel, and immunotherapy for aggressive variant disease.
