Christopher Gaiteri, PhD, is an Associate Professor at Upstate Medical University. His research integrates systems biology, genetics, and neuroimaging to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative disorders. His recent work employs proteomic profiling to identify distinct biomarker panels for cerebral small-vessel disease and multi-network approaches to link proteins with dendritic spine pathology. He has also pioneered multi-stage graph attention networks for interpretable Alzheimer’s classification from genome-wide data and investigated how tau seeds propagate via individual-specific brain connectivity. His publications appear in leading journals including *Neuron*, *Nature Aging*, and *Genome Medicine*.
