Cheryl Logan is a Senior Professor at California State University, Monterey Bay. Her research integrates marine ecology, physiology, and evolutionary biology to address climate change impacts on marine organisms, with a focus on coral reef persistence, thermal tolerance, and hypoxia responses in juvenile flatfishes. Recent work includes genome skimming to reveal hidden species diversity in East Pacific *Pocillopora* corals, assessments of coral adaptive capacity under global warming, and development of the Coral Bleaching Automated Stress System (CBASS) for standardized thermal limit measurements. She also explores landscape transcriptomics and refugia diversification to secure coral reef futures.
