Bruno C. Odisio is a Professor of Interventional Radiology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on image-guided thermal ablation and locoregional therapies for hepatobiliary and pulmonary malignancies, with particular emphasis on three-dimensional ablative margin assessment, liver tumor segmentation using artificial intelligence, and Yttrium-90 radioembolization for hepatocellular carcinoma. He has led international multisociety Delphi consensus efforts establishing procedural and margin-assessment standards for liver tumor thermal ablation, published in The Lancet Oncology. His recent work also examines portal venous embolization outcomes and simulation-based effects of measurement errors on minimum ablative margins.
