G. Brandon Gunn is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on radiation oncology, with specific interests in proton versus photon radiotherapy for oropharyngeal cancer, multimodal therapy for anaplastic thyroid carcinoma, and the molecular characterization of sinonasal NUT carcinoma. He has published landmark phase 3 trials in *The Lancet* and contributed extensively to head and neck cancer epidemiology and treatment outcomes. His work includes international multispecialty collaborations on preoperative imaging assessment and carotid artery volumetry analysis following radiation therapy.
