Bin Liu is a Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research integrates cell biology, genetics, and molecular biology to address tumor biology, oncogene function, and cancer immunology. Recent work includes a Phase I trial of PRAME TCR-engineered IL15-transduced cord blood NK cells for refractory melanoma, IL-21 engineering enhancing NK activity against glioblastoma via CEBPD, and B-cell-specific Wwox deletion promoting plasmablastic tumors. He also investigates CDCA7’s DNA-binding domain in non-B DNA recognition, SAGA complex KAT module oncogenic programs in MYCN-amplified neuroblastoma, and age-specific mutant p53 induction in clonal hematopoiesis and acute myeloid leukemia.
