Bhagirathbhai Dholaria

Bhagirathbhai Dholaria is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University. He earned his MBBS from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, in 2009. His research focuses on cellular therapy, allogeneic and autologous stem cell transplantation, and the management of hematologic malignancies, particularly leukemia and multiple myeloma. His recent work includes defining functional high-risk multiple myeloma in the context of quadruplet therapy, optimizing CAR T-cell toxicity management—specifically cytokine release syndrome and neurotoxicity—and evaluating novel agents like ruxolitinib maintenance to reduce chronic graft-versus-host disease. He has also led phase 1/2 trials of allogeneic anti-CD7 CAR T-cells for relapsed/refractory T-cell malignancies.
