Ashok Reddy is a Senior Professor at Oregon Health & Science University. His research integrates proteomics, cell biology, and ophthalmology to investigate protein homeostasis, tissue-specific proteomes, and disease mechanisms. Recent work includes developing SYVN1-targeting PROTACs using clofibric acid, defining postmortem interval effects on human donor retina protein abundance, and characterizing extracellular matrix and cytoskeletal alterations in glaucomatous trabecular meshwork cells. He has also explored the cerebrospinal fluid proteome in Nodding syndrome, endogenous protein–protein interactions via SMAP3-ID, and procoagulant phenotypes across gestation in rhesus macaques. His translational studies bridge molecular pharmacology, developmental biology, and clinical applications in vision and hemostasis research.
