Anthony Lucci, M.D., is a Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he specializes in surgical oncology and breast oncology. A senior professor and clinician-researcher, his work focuses on inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), residual disease, and immune correlates of pathologic complete response. His recent investigations examine peripheral immune indices as predictors of treatment response, CCR7 expression for therapeutic targeting, and locoregional nodal status as a prognostic factor for overall survival. He also leads the International Inflammatory Breast Cancer Symposium, advancing translational research on residual disease and recurrence mechanisms in breast cancer and melanoma.
