Anthony Conley is a Senior Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he specializes in sarcoma oncology and translational cancer research. His research focuses on the clinical development of novel immunotherapies and targeted agents for rare malignant diseases, particularly alveolar soft part sarcoma, chordoma, and chondrosarcoma. His recent work has investigated prolonged checkpoint inhibitor exposure in alveolar soft part sarcoma, oncolytic adenoviral therapy combined with TGF-beta inhibition, and the mutant IDH1 inhibitor ivosidenib in conventional chondrosarcoma. He has also contributed to establishing consensus guidelines for craniocervical chordoma management and exploring neoadjuvant radiation-immunotherapy combinations in chemotherapy-refractory sarcomas. His publications span high-impact journals including Cancer Research, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Clinical Cancer Research.
