Anne Tsao is a Professor of Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she specializes in the treatment of lung cancer and malignant pleural mesothelioma. Her research focuses on novel immunotherapeutic combinations, targeted therapies for BRAF V600E-mutant non-small cell lung cancer, and supportive care interventions, including yoga for patients undergoing thoracic radiotherapy. She has led pivotal trials, including CheckMate 743, and her recent work in Nature Medicine explores perioperative nivolumab with ctDNA analyses in resectable mesothelioma. Her contributions have advanced precision oncology and improved clinical outcomes for thoracic malignancies.
