Anne Perring is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Colgate University. Her research focuses on atmospheric chemistry and aerosol science, with specific interests in black carbon light absorption, ice nucleation measurements, and the atmospheric evolution of biomass burning emissions. Her recent work includes field intercomparisons of ice nucleation measurements (FIN-03), examining black carbon wet removal in monsoonal convective transport, and parameterizing wildfire emission factors based on FIREX-AQ aircraft data. She has published in Nature Communications, Environmental Science & Technology, and the Journal of Geophysical Research. Her research addresses climate change and air quality through advanced atmospheric measurement techniques.
