Andrew C. Adey is a Professor of Molecular and Medical Genetics at Oregon Health & Science University. His research integrates single-cell genomics, epigenetics, and systems biology to dissect tumor heterogeneity and hematopoietic development. Recent work includes identifying PU.1 inhibition as a sensitizer of stem-monocytic AML to BCL2 blockade, characterizing cell fusion-driven RUNX1-mediated invasion in colorectal cancer, and defining mutant ASXL1 transcriptional programs in hematopoiesis. He also developed dominoSignal, a computational tool for cell-cell communication inference from single-cell data, and has published in Nature Cancer, Developmental Cell, and Cancer Research. His laboratory combines genome biology with bioinformatics to explore replication stress tolerance and clonal dynamics in pancreatic cancer recurrence.
