Amy Wolf is a Senior Professor at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. Her research integrates forest ecology, biogeography, and biodiversity, with a focus on the mechanisms governing tree community dynamics and coexistence across global scales. Her recent work, published in *Nature*, examines latitudinal scaling of aggregation with abundance and coexistence in forests, alongside patterns in stabilizing density dependence. She has also investigated legacy conspecific density dependence (*Ecology Letters*), major axes of variation in tree demography (*Ecography*), and spatial synchrony in forest population dynamics (*Proceedings of the Royal Society B*). Her studies on mycorrhizal feedbacks and global forest structure appear in *Communications Biology*.
