Abhishek Maiti

Abhishek Maiti is an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on hematological malignancies, specifically acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myeloid neoplasia, and pharmacology. His recent work includes investigating IDH1-mutated myeloid malignancies with post-transplant maintenance therapy using olutasidenib, targeting MERTK in AML with RGX-019-MMAE, and evaluating venetoclax-based regimens with hypomethylating agents and isocitrate dehydrogenase inhibitors. He has also explored the POT1 tumor predisposition syndrome and global epidemiologic trends of early-onset cancers.
