Aaron Kyle Jones

Aaron Kyle Jones is a Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on interventional oncology, specifically advancing computed tomography-guided percutaneous thermal ablation for malignant liver tumors, including quantitative ablation confirmation methods and functional liver volume assessment. He investigates emerging technologies in image-guided procedures, such as spatial computing with the Apple Vision Pro for minimally invasive simulation and hybrid angiography-CT suite utilization. His recent work also addresses systematic biases in vendor-reported activity for radioembolization and workflow analysis in image-guided spine surgery.
